What the free compliance scan checks

Answer a few questions about your store and the scan maps your business against the regulations that actually apply to it: GDPR and UK GDPR, the ePrivacy rules behind cookie consent, and the EU AI Act if you use tools like product recommendations, chatbots, or fraud detection.

Yes. There is no account to create and no payment details to enter. You answer the questions, see your results on screen straight away, and receive the full report by email.
Which regulations does the scan cover?
Fifteen privacy and AI regulations: GDPR and UK GDPR, Canada’s PIPEDA, six US state privacy laws (California CCPA/CPRA, Colorado, Virginia, Connecticut, Texas and Oregon), and AI-specific rules including the EU AI Act, the Colorado AI Act, NYC Local Law 144, the Illinois AI Video Interview Act, California’s ADMT rules and FTC AI enforcement under Section 5.
Do you store my answers?
No. Your answers are used to compute the result and generate the emailed report — they are not saved to a database or linked to an account. Your email address is used to deliver the report.
How long does the scan take?
Under three minutes. It is up to nine short multiple-choice questions, and some steps only appear when they are relevant — for example, the US state question is skipped if you have no US customers.
